Where we invest
We focus on early-stage companies across four intersecting domains where I spent years as a founder and operator. We look for technical founders with deep domain expertise solving hard problems with novel approaches.
Cybersecurity
We strongly believe AI is drastically and rapidly reshaping the cyber threat landscape, and therefore the cyber defense stack needs to be reimagined across all layers and segments. We back founders challenging the status quo of cyber - whether disrupting existing cyber categories or imagining new product categories for tomorrow's threats.
Data Infrastructure
Data is the oxygen for AI, and AI is deeply changing how data is created, managed and consumed. The so-called modern data stack needs to be rethought for an AI-native era, where data creation and consumption become primarily agentic. We invest in founders innovating on the bleeding edge of data infrastructure across all layers of the new, AI-centric data stack.
AI Infrastructure
AI is the most transformative technology of our lifetimes, fast reshaping our understanding of what software and computation are and how software, models and agents get created, tested, delivered and consumed by both humans and agents. We back founders innovating across the entire AI infrastructure stack - through and including the agentic layer.
B2B Fintech
Core labor-based Fintech services and workflows are being rebuilt as agentic offerings, and financial services need to be recast for agentic consumption - all while addressing critical compliance, tax and legal requirements. We invest in founders with deep domain expertise who are rebuilding the B2B fintech and CFO stack for the agentic era.

About
I'm a serial entrepreneur turned investor with over 30 years in technology. I've founded and led to successful exits 3 startups in networking (merged with another startup and IPO'ed on NASDAQ), cyber (acquired by Juniper Networks/HPE) and data + AI infra (acquired by Intuit).
The acquisitions led to senior leadership roles including VP of Corpdev at Juniper Networks, SVP/GM of Juniper Network's $1B Core routing business unit; VP/GM at Intuit's data + AI infra org and VP/GM at Intuit's global QuickBooks leadership team. In those senior corporate roles I got to acquire, invest in and partner with startups - so I've been on both sides of the startup-corporate table for years.
Over the past few years I've been focused full-time on investing and advising startups from their earliest days through exits. I don't just write checks - I work closely with founders on solving the ever-changing Rubik's cube of challenges founders wake up to every morning: from fundraising to GTM strategy; from pricing to team building; and the ultimate M&A strategy and negotiations through successful exits.
My approach is hands-on and high-trust, as I believe the best investor-founder relationships are built on candor and real operational partnership.
When I'm not meeting founders, you'll find me vibe coding the tools I need to run my business, composing music, reading, and - most importantly - spending time with my wife and four children.
